The Violent Stepfather series is based on my childhood, the abuse is real and I want to raise awareness of what really occurs behind closed doors. Many others are less fortunate than I was and can suffer horrifically without anyone coming to their aid. I'm hoping these stories will increase the awareness of the neglect that happens and in turn show those who are suffering they are not alone...
